How does server 127.127.1.0 and fudge in /etc/ntp.conf work?
Issue
- What is the difference in ntpd's behavior when the
server 127.127.1.0andfudge 127.127.1.0lines in /etc/ntp.conf are commented out? - What happens when you comment the
server 127.127.1.0line in ntp.conf? - Why does ntpd in RHEL5 synchronize with the local system clock by default? Is it okay to comment out the
server 127.127.1.0line in /etc/ntp.conf?
