Disable or uninstall cloud-init

Issue

  • As part of openstack integration, We have installed the cloud-init package on our RHEL 7 server and after installation, we observed server boot time and some of the services are owned by cloud-init .

  • Now we have uninstalled the cloud-init package from the server but still the changes are present in server.

yum remove cloud-init
  • Could you please let us know the correct method to remove or disable all the changes happened due to cloud-init.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.7 (RHOSP)
