Red Hat Support Tool hangs with the error "Invalid header value 'Basic XXX'"

Issue

  • The redhat-support-toll is being used behind a proxy
  • Command used: redhat-support-tool addattachment -c <case-number> <sosreportfile>
  • After the login process with the portal credentials, it fails with ERROR: Problem encountered whilst uploading the attachment. Please consult the Red Hat Support Tool logs for details.
  • On the logs from sosreport, appears the error Invalid header value 'Basic XXX'
