Cannot access RHEV-M after restarting the ovirt-engine service

Issue

  • RHEV-M is not available after restarting the ovirt-engine service, giving HTTP Status 500 error

  • /var/log/ovirt-engine/engine.log contains lookup errors

  • First DNS server listed in /etc/resolv.conf is unreachable
