Issue

  • Live merge (snapshot deletion) hung.

  • VDSM did not detect that the block job had completed.

  • Restarting VDSM allowed the Live Merge to complete.

Environment

  • Red Hat Virtualization (RHV) 4.3.5
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7.7 host;
    • libvirt-4.5.0-23.el7_7.1.x86_64
    • qemu-kvm-rhev-2.12.0-33.el7_7.4.x86_64
    • vdsm-4.30.33-1.el7ev.x86_64
