Unable to share kibana dashboards

Issue

Some of our users want to share their kibana dashboard within or with other teams. When installing our 3.11 cluster a few weeks ago, we set the inventory option openshift_logging_elasticsearch_kibana_index_mode=shared_ops, what in our comprehension and referring to the docs is meant to enable exactly this possibility.
Unfortunately our teams still don't see a way to share their individual dashboards.
When a different user tries to open another's shared dashboard, he gets errors like this:
