  • Kickstart installation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux-6 is failing with following error when there is python script is used in pre-section of kickstart profile:

    WARNING : '/usr/bin/python' specified as full path
    ERROR   : Error code 1 running the kickstart script at line 132
    ERROR   :  Traceback (most recent call last):
    ERROR   :    File "/tmp/ks-script-fmdKCb", line 5, in <module>
    ERROR   :      drives = isys.hardDriveDict()
    ERROR   :  AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'hardDriveDict'
    INFO    : All kickstart %%pre script(s) have been run
