Third-party BIOS/firmware update or configuration tools don't work when SecureBoot is enabled
Issue
- Can't update BIOS or a device's firmware using third-party tools when SecureBoot is enabled.
- Can't change BIOS or a device's firmware configuration using third-party tools when SecureBoot is enabled (for example, Intel® System Configuration Utility).
- The same tools work when SecureBoot is disabled.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 or later
- SecureBoot is enabled
