How to deploy configuration files owned by users using default winbind naming scheme ?
Issue
- The User/Group boxes for configuration boxes do not accept the default winbind user naming scheme of
DOMAIN\user. Giving below error :
"User must be a valid Linux user name or user id, of 32 characters or less."
- This makes it impossible to deploy files for these users. The error message suggests UID/GID might be valid for this field.
Environment
- Red Hat Satellite v.5.4.1
