nslcd on RHEL6 filling logs with "Can't contact LDAP server" messages although lookups work fine
Issue
nslcd is filling system logs with:
nslcd[30492]: [495cff] ldap_result() failed:
Can't contact LDAP server
Decreasing nslcd's idle_timeout to as low as 240 did not prevent the errors from appearing, nor did upgrading nss-pam-ldapd as specified in https://access.redhat.com/site/solutions/62655
Authentication is successful, but the customer feels that nslcd should not be logging this many errors when operating normally.

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
- nss-pam-ldapd-0.7.5-15 or later
- nss-pam-ldapd-0.7.5-14.el6_2.1.x86_64 or earlier
