KVM guest will not start on RHEL6 after transferring disk images from another host
Issue
- After copying disk images from another host, attempting to start a KVM guest managed by libvirt results in:
- Guest shows as running in
virsh listor virt-manager - Guest doesn't respond to ping, ssh or other network services
- No output shown on
virsh console
- Guest shows as running in
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.3 virtualization host
- KVM guest managed by libvirt (
virt-managerorvirsh)
