I have status_file enabled for debugging my qdiskd setup, and my node got evicted with no other apparent cause.

Environment

Red Hat Cluster Suite 4+
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 5 (with the High Availability Add on)
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 6 (with the High Availability Add on)
status_file attribute on the quorumd element in /etc/cluster/cluster.conf
