Can EJB timer service in EAP 6 disable persistence configuration?

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • Is it possible to remove the file persistence for ejb timers
  • EAP 5 could disable EJB timer service persistence by NoopPersistencePolicy. However, I could not find same setting in EAP 6. Can EJB timer service in EAP 6 disable persistence configuration?
  • Is it possible to deactivate the persistence for ejb-timers
  • Is it possible to configure retry attempts for non-persistent EJB Timer service in standalone.xml?
  • Is there any configuration available for "retry attempts" in ejb timer-service like "max-delivery-attempts" for MDB?

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP)
    • 6.x
