Why am I unable to edit /etc/fstab file as root user in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4?
Issue
- The file /etc/fstab needs to be edited, however even as root user it is impossible to edit the file. The file displays that it is generated by fstab-sync.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.8
- fstab-sync
