Support for 'fence_hpblade' as a RHEV fencing agent

Issue

  • HP recommends to use fence_hpblade fencing agent for its blade systems but this fencing agent is not listed while configuring Power Management for hosts using RHEV Admin Portal. Are there any plan to support fence_hpblade as fencing agent with RHEV?

Resolution

Support for fence_hpblade as a fence agent in Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization was added in RHEV 3.4 per the release of Errata RHSA-2014:0506-1. Update to RHEV 3.4 or later to enable this fence agent.
