- ldapsearch command return error "Size limit exceeded (4)"

Resolution
- In case of openldap server is using
slapd.conf
, add below line inslapd.conf
sizelimit 5000
However 5000 is a search limit and it can be increased.
- In case of
openldap
server is usingcn=config.ldif
, add below line under the bdb database file
sizelimit unlimited
- In case of
openldap
server is usingcn=config.ldif
, add below line under the hdb database file
olcSizeLimit: 5000

- After making changes in the respective files restart
openldap
server
systemctl restart slapd
