Secondary Remote Viewer display intermittently fails to enable on WindowsXP client system when connecting to a RHEV guest

Issue

  • Dual monitor behavior not ideal in the latest Remote Viewer from RHEV 3.2.1 when connecting to a RHEV 3.1 environment. Sometimes the 2nd monitor fails to display and it has to be enabled manually. The following errors were seen in the vdagent.log file on the Windows guest:

  • Guest: Windows 7 with RHEV Tools 3.1-12
