Issue

  • The NetworkManager Applet cannot handle leading and trailing spaces in the APN connect string.
  • You cannot connect if the APN string in the GUI has a space at the beginning or end.
  • Can we "trim" the APN string to remove trailing and leading spaces?
  • NetworkManager will not connect if the APN string contains a space.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.4
  • NetworkManager Applet
