JBoss service on Windows not able to be started under restricted account

Issue

We run jboss services undera local user account within MS Windows server 2008/2012. The local jboss user account has restricted access to the server file system. However there is a problem in that unless the local Jboss user account is a member of the server users group, it will not run.

mmc.exe is beign denied access to registry entries and the system32 directory.
