There are some error such as "WARNING: NR_CPUS limit of 8 reached. Processor ignored." found in dmesg, how to handle that?
Issue
There is an Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 box with 16 cpu cores processors, only 8 cpu cores are recognized by smp kernel. There are also some error such as "WARNING: NR_CPUS limit of 8 reached. Processor ignored." found in dmesg.
