Unable to modify the cluster resource configuration from luci interface

Issue

  • Luci interface is unable to modify the configuration of clustered resources and shows the following error message:

      A resource named "resource1" already exists
    
  • Below is the configuration of cluster service which contains above resource:

    <service autostart="1" name="service1" recovery="relocate">
             <lvm name="vg01" vg_name="vg01">
                    <fs device="/dev/vg01/lv1" force_fsck="1" force_unmount="1" fsid="37771" fstype="ext4" mountpoint="/mnt" name="resource1" self_fence="0"/>
             </lvm>
             <script file="/usr/local/bin/testscript" name="resource1"/>
    </service>
    

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 Advanced Platform
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 with the High Availability or Resilient Storage Add Ons
