Experiencing a memory leak when using QueryPlanCache in EAP 4.3.0

Issue

  • The problem is that under heavy load, after a while, we get memory thrashing. OldGen stays at 99.99% all the time and the system craws.

Doing a memory dump, we can see the problem is a memory leak in Hibernate, described in http://opensource.atlassian.com/projects/hibernate/browse/HHH-5300. I even tried to patch JBoss EAP with 3.6.0 FINAL, but there seems to be conflicts with JBoss own libs and actually it's a Community version so, not supported.
