How to restore RHHI-v Storage domains after deploying RHV-Manager
-
There are times that the RHV-Manager will need to be restored from a backup or as a fresh install. This procedure is intended to keep the existing data from the unaffected bricks, deploy a fresh manager with the 3 node cluster, and import the data.
Restoring a Hyperconverged cluster involves the following steps:
-
Prepare the gluster volume where the manager will be deployed
-
Prepare the hosts to be added to the Self Hosted Engine
-
Deploy the Self Hosted Engine
-
Update the HE cluster from a virtualization cluster to a hyperconverged cluster
-
Add remaining hosts to the Manager
-
Import Gluster Storage Domains
