How can I pass startup parameters to a script resource in a RHEL High Availability Cluster?
Issue
- I want to be able to pass parameters to a script resource on startup
- I want to pass the resource name to the script resource
- I have a single script that is capable of managing different instances or applications, but it has to have a value passed in to let it know which one to manage. How can I configure my script resource to tell the script which one to operate on?
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 or 6 with the High Availability Add On
- A script that can take action on various apps or instances but needs to be told which one to operate on
