[RHEL6.0] Cannot receive packets on KVM guest using macvtap+SRIOV on Intel 82576 Gbit NIC

Issue

  • A KVM guest using macvtap server with Intel 82576 Gbit NIC using SR-IOV could send out packets, but could not receive packets.
  • The same problem occurs with and without vhost_net.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.0/6.1
  • kernel-2.6.32-71.el6 (or later)
