Sluggish performance of "named" daemon.

Issue

• The name resolution on this name server is sluggish.

• It is not just name resolution that is sluggish but the OS. When the problem is happening logins and running other OS commands are slow.

• The problem seems to only happen when network connections go above ~750.  The only thing that I have found is the iowait times go to ~30% on sdb5, but CPU and memory look fine.

• sdb5 has the DNS database and the daemon.info logs.
