setting hostname in /etc/sysconfig/network - best practice
Issue
- What Red Hat recommends setting the hostname to in /etc/sysconfig/network, whether the short hostname (e.g. HOSTNAME=server1) or the fully qualified domain name (HOSTNAME=server1.example.com) ?
