Missing HornetQ JDK 5 client libraries for JBoss Enterprise Application Platform

Issue

Previously with the community edition of HQ, we used to get two separate versions of jar files:
* hornetq-core-client.jar and hornetq-jms-client.jar (Java 6 versions)

  • hornetq-core-client-java5.jar and hornetq-jms-client-java5.jar (Java 5 versions)

The *-java5.jar were for use with Java 5 clients only. They were not used by the HornetQ server.

So should I expect two sets of jar files for the supported version of HornetQ, or is there going to be only 1 version of the client jars, which would be the java5 versions and should also work with java 6.

Environment

  • JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 5.1
  • HornetQ 2.2.x
