Issue

  • svnserve is not able to execute post-commit hooks
  • SELinux issues a permission denied message: execute_no_trans when executing post-commit hook in svnserve:

    Jun 24 14:49:50 abcd1234 setroubleshoot: SELinux is preventing /usr/bin/svnserve from execute_no_trans access on the file /demo/dir/hooks/post-commit. For complete SELinux messages run:sealert -l 469c2a8c-7eaf-491e-9239-abcd1234
    
  • We have migrated an application from RHEL 6 to RHEL 7 and got one SELinux issue that prevents to execute svnserve hooks
