Frequent "Port logout" messages appearing in /var/log/messages

Issue

Our /var/log/messages log files are flooded with following error messages:

Aug 11 07:09:05 hostname kernel: qla2xxx [0000:05:00.0]-5810:1: Port logout 0000 0007 1700. 
Aug 11 07:09:23 hostname kernel: qla2xxx [0000:05:00.0]-5810:1: Port logout 0000 0007 1700. 
Aug 11 07:21:03 hostname kernel: qla2xxx [0000:0b:00.0]-5810:2: Port logout 0000 0007 1700. 
Aug 11 07:21:21 hostname kernel: qla2xxx [0000:0b:00.0]-5810:2: Port logout 0000 0007 1700. 
Aug 11 08:09:05 hostname kernel: qla2xxx [0000:05:00.0]-5810:1: Port logout 0000 0007 1700. 
Aug 11 08:09:23 hostname kernel: qla2xxx [0000:05:00.0]-5810:1: Port logout 0000 0007 1700.
