Data loss with O_SYNC and O_DSYNC using GFS2 when a node panics immediately after writing in RHEL 6 Update 4
Issue
- When I write data to my
GFS2filesystem withO_DSYNC, if the write is interrupted sometimes the data doesn't make it to disk.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 6 with the High Availability and Resilient Storage Add Ons
- A Global Filesystem 2(
GFS2) - RHEL 6 Update 2:
