Issue

  • After upgrading kernel to '2.6.18-308.8.2.el5' seeing cannot load shared libraries for dmraid message during boot.
/sbin/dmraid: error while loading shared libraries: libdmraid.so.1.0.0.rc13-17:
can not open shared object file: No such file or directory

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.8
  • 'dmraid-1.0.0.rc13-53.el5' or earlier
