ReaR ( Relax and Recover ) restored system fails to boot

Issue

  • Everything works fine during the ReaR process:

    • Backup generated with
    # rear -d -v mkbackup
    
    • Recover with
    # rear -d -v recover
    
  • The recovered system is not able to boot with this kind of messages:

    dracut-initqueue[259]: Warning: dracut-initqueue timeout - starting timeout scripts
    
  • The system is based on lvm

  • lvm
