Error while migrating VM "libvirtError: cannot fork child process: Cannot allocate memory" on RHV.

Issue

  • While migrating VM from one host to another migration is getting failed.
  • On source hypervisor memory utilization is 100%, to free up a memory need to migrate VMs to another host.
  • There is enough free memory available on the destination but still VM migration is getting failed.

  • Red Hat Virtualization 4.x
