Is there an EWS Tomcat upgrade option ?

Issue

  • A 3rd party product requires at minimum Tomcat 6.0.26. However, JBoss EWS v1.0.1 is currently shipped with Apache Tomcat 6.0.24.

Since there is a required from the third party to stay on a Red Hat supported release of Apache Tomcat,need supported Apache Tomcat interim fix, upgrade path or a new release of Apache Tomcat to raise the supported Apache Tomcat version to v6.0_26 or v6.0_29?

  • Running AS 4.0.x and need to upgrade the version tomcat embedded to 5.5.30.

  • JBoss Enterprise Web Server(EWS) 1.0.x
  • Tomcat
  • JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP)
    • 5.x
