On RHN Satellite, Tomcat throws an "java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: ocijdbc10 (Not found in java.library.path)" error

  • Tomcat reports a missing oracle connector reported in its logs on the satellite

  • Satellite server unavailable after applying updates via rhn_check

  • Satellite is now not available and presents an error 503 page stating:

    "The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems.
     Please try again later."
    
  • java.lang.UnsatisifiedLinkError traceback errors in /var/log/tomcat5/catalina.out:

    Exception in thread "com.mchange.v2.async.ThreadPoolAsynchronousRunner$PoolThread-#1"
