Pods are stuck in "ContainerCreating" status when an OpenShift node's /var/log partition is full
Issue
- OpenShift's nodes have a separate
/var/logpartition, and when all space on this partition fills up, pods begin to get stuck inContainerCreatingstatus; - OpenShift node does not become
NotReadywithDiskPressurestatus when separate/var/logpartition disk space fills up.
