How can I encrypt the plaintext passwords in Ansible Tower / Controller configuration files?
Issue
- Passwords stored in tower configuration files are stored in plain text. A user with access to the /etc/tower/conf.d/ directory can view the passwords used to access the database, rabbitMQ, and other pieces of Tower.
Environment
- Ansible Tower >= 3.2
- Ansible Automation Controller >= 2.1
