MetaMatrix server not completely starting, with no error messages

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • Our MetaMatrix server crashed and when we try to restart it, it doesn't completely start.
  • The HostController starts and you can see the mmprocess in the Windows Task Manager window but you cannot connect with the Console.
  • The MMProcess.log shows no errors until you let it run for a while and then an Out of Memory error is thrown.

Environment

  • MetaMatrix Enterprise Server 5.5.4
  • Windows Servers on VMWare
