Satellite Monitoring service cannot connect to client after client's IP address changed

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • deleted/reregistered system in satellite -- monitoring fails to update
  • had to move a server from one network to another; deleted the system  profile and re-registered.
  • system profile in satellite is correct but  monitoring still attempts to probe the old IP.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux
