RHVH installation failing while creating thin pool with DeviceCreateError

Issue

  • RHVH installation failing with below error.
DeviceCreateError: ('lvcreate failed for VG/LV: running /sbin/lvm lvcreate --thinpool VG/LV --size 52407936m --poolmetadatasize 196 --chunksize 64 --config devices { preferred_name=["^/dev/mapper/", "^/dev/md/", "^/dev/sd"]} failed', 'VG-LV)
  • Unable to manually create LV in Anaconda shell using lvcreate command with argument value for --chunksize as 64Kib. The command failed with below error.
Selected chunk size 64.00 KiB cannot address more then 15.81  TiB of thin pool data space

Environment

  • Red Hat Virtualization Host 4.3.
  • Red Hat Virtualization Host 4.4.
