Issue

Running sosreports on servers on a regular basis and storing them off-system for reference. It was noticed that the the report from one of the systems was much larger than expected (and indeed filled up /tmp during creation). A quick investigation showed it was pulling the sar data from /var/log/sa/saXX (as documented in the man page).
The process was changed to add -n sar but the run is still collecting the sar data. Then it was tried changing to --skip-plugins sar as well which didn't help.
How can sosreports be run without the sar data?
