Issue

  • When using OUTPUT=USB to create a bootable USB media in UEFI mode, the following error messages are seen

    # rear -v mkrescue
    [...]
    Created initrd.cgz with gzip default compression (215276422 bytes) in 14 seconds
    ERROR: Could not copy /tmp/rear.yHHZPnlChfh43YH/tmp/initrd.cgz to /tmp/rear-efi.H9rRB//EFI/BOOT/initrd.cgz
    Aborting due to an error, check /var/log/rear/rear-mysystem.log for details
