Newly registered server have the wrong repository

Issue

  • Registered a new rhel6-server to the satellite server, but it has repo from rhel5 instead of rhel6 
root@ # yum repolist
Loaded plugins: rhnplugin
repo id                                                      repo name                                                                                  status
        rhel-x86_64-server-5                                         Red Hat Enterprise Linux (v. 5 for 64-bit x86_64)                                          0
        repolist: 0
  • All systems which are getting registered to Red Hat Satellite are going to RHEL6 channel by default.
