Does Samba / Winbind Active Directory support offline authentication?
Issue
- Samba / Winbind AD auth
- We want to implement the Samba / Winbind (idmap_rid) solution for AD auth.
- My Question is, does it support offline auth (notebooks)?
- Is it recommended/supported from RedHat side to use this solution with offline auth?
- Are there any disadvantages which are not included/documented in Integrating Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 with Active Directory?
