All active interfaces are disconnected from the network when stopping NetworkManager service. Why ?
Issue
- After stopping NetworkManager service by below command, all interfaces which are currently active gets disconnect from network.
# /etc/init.d/NetworkManager stop

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- NetworkManager
