The network service fails on starting with SElinux errors on libresolv.so.2
Issue
After upgrading from RHEL-5.4 to RHEL-5.5 the network can not be started when SElinux is configured to run in Enforcing mode. The error during boot mentions:
arping: error while loading shared libraries: libresolv.so.2: can not open shared object file: No such file or directory
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.5
- SElinux in Enforcing mode
