nova-compute: libvirtError: invalid argument: could not find capabilities for domaintype=kvm
Issue
nova-compute fails to start or create an instance with the following error found in /var/log/nova/nova-compute.log.
2019-07-08 15:41:58.105 8458 ERROR nova.compute.manager [instance: 7f20dd1e-5892-428f-a189-fb6f19c9f92c] libvirtError: invalid argument: could not find capabilities for domaintype=kvm
kernel logs will contain errors like the following when the kvm_intel module insert was attempted
