The partition /usr is 100% utilized, can the files/directories from /usr be moved in another mount point?
Issue
- The partition
/usr
has no disk space remaining in it. Its not an LVM volume. - Can the files/directories be moved from
/usr
to some other newly created mount point and be used as new/usr
? - Is there any way to achieve it in RHEL6?
- When I install JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP), it is unzipped to /usr/share/jbossas, but I have only limited disk space remaining, can I mount a new disk under /usr?
Environment
