Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

  • The below command of oc adm diagnostics is giving warning message intermittently (No error). If 10 times it is checked then 7 times behavior is seen and 3 times it is not giving any warning and error message. Warning message of timeout is seen while authenticating to master.

    # oc adm diagnostics DiagnosticPod --images=<image-name> --diaglevel=0

    Warning message:
    WARN: [DCli2013 from diagnostic DiagnosticPod@openshift/origin/pkg/oc/admin/diagnostics/diagnostics/client /pod/run_diagnostics_pod.go:196]
See the warnings below in the output from the diagnostic pod:
         [Note] Running diagnostic: PodCheckAuth
Description: Check that service account credentials authenticate as expected

         WARN: [DP1005 from diagnostic PodCheckAuth@openshift/origin/pkg/oc/admin/diagnostics/diagnostics/client/pod/in_pod/auth.go:91]
A request to the master timed out.
This could be temporary but could also indicate network or DNS problems.
